COVID information: We are holding our regular Sunday 10:30 AM worship services with social distancing measures and required wearing of face masks. Our sanctuary allows us to open four large doors to the outside, giving us cross-ventilation air exchange.  We also offer Facebook Live-Streams. Click on the graphic above for our latest sermon. Sermons are also available for viewing, reading, or listening under the “Sermons” tab above.

If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask because the vaccines are remarkably effective at stopping COVID. If you haven’t been vaccinated, we suggest that you wear a mask, because we do have children here who have also not been vaccinated, and as we all know by now, children can have the COVID infection and not show symptoms. We want you to be safe. Please ask permission before hugging or shaking hands with anyone out of respect for their feelings.

Exciting News: CEDAR GROVE UMC will be on the radio on Sunday mornings beginning September 6, 2020 at 9AM!!  Each sermon will be broadcast on WVVV 96.9 FM one week after being recorded at our live 10:30AM service.  Please tell your family and friends!

Online Giving

Introducing our NEW Online Giving Platform

Don’t worry, it is as secure as your online banking account! You may use the link “Give” at the top of our website in our menu items or any of the following convenient ways:

To Give:

Scan this QR Code with your phone or tablet Camera
You may also use our Cedar Grove App to Give.  If you had our old App, remove it, then search for “Share Faith” in your App Store on your phone or tablet.  Download the Share Faith App and then, when you open it, search for Cedar Grove from within the App.  This will make Cedar Grove UMC your default church.  Within this app you’ll see a “Donate” link.  Follow it to open the giving platform and give there.
Make sure that you check out the other features of our App.  Along with “Donate” you’ll see a link to past sermons, announcements, the Bible, as well as other things.  The App is a great way to keep up with everything happening at Cedar Grove.
It’s not hard, but if you have any trouble,
check out this video that explains how to sign up and how to give:
You will receive a receipt instantly, plus you will receive an email receipt as well.  Once you sign up, next time you will just sign in.  That way you can keep track of your giving history for your records.  We encourage you to set it up for the offering to be taken out of your checking account directly and to select a recurring gift.  You may also use your debit or credit card.
